Our fees
These are fixed. The price you're quoted is the price you pay, and the written report is included in every assessment fee — not charged separately afterwards.

Nothing is payable for the screening call. If you decide to go ahead, payment is taken securely before the assessment appointment.
Why combined costs less than two separate assessments
The combined pathway is £2,650, compared with £3,045 for the two listed assessment fees added together (£1,050 + £1,995). If you have questions about both ADHD and autism, discuss them on the free screening call so the team can advise which pathway is appropriate.
What to check before paying anyone
Private assessment pricing is not standardised in the UK and headline figures are not always comparable. Before you commit to any provider — us included — get clear answers on these:
- Is the written report included? Some quote a low assessment fee and charge separately for the report. The report is the thing you actually need for school, so a quote without it isn't a real quote.
- Who will assess your child, and what are their qualifications? You should get a name and a credential, not "one of our clinicians."
- Are school questionnaires included? Information from school is a standard part of a good assessment, not an add-on.
- Is there a feedback appointment? Being emailed a report with no one to explain it is not much use.
- What happens if the outcome is "no diagnosis"? You should still receive a full report explaining the reasoning. That's a valid and useful outcome, not a failed assessment.
- Do they prescribe, or assess only? Different services, different regulation. Know which you're buying.
Being straight about what we are
We assess and we write the report. We do not prescribe medication. If your child is likely to need medication, that's a separate pathway through your GP or an NHS service, and it's worth understanding that before you pay us. Our report can support that conversation, but it isn't a prescription and doesn't guarantee one.
Free and lower-cost routes worth ruling out first
We'd rather say this than have you spend money you didn't need to.
In England, NHS Right to Choose can let you ask your GP to refer your child to an independent provider holding an NHS contract — often with a shorter wait than your local service, and free. Reported waits are still commonly around 12–18 months for children, so it's slower than going private, but if cost is the deciding factor for your family it should be your first move. It's also worth asking your child's school what support they'll put in place now, without a diagnosis. Quite a lot is possible without one, and it costs nothing to ask.
Is a private assessment worth the money?
Honestly, it depends on what you need it for.
It tends to be worth it when the difficulties show up in more than one setting, have been there a long time rather than a few hard weeks, are genuinely getting in the way of learning or friendships, and you need something concrete to work with sooner than the NHS queue allows.
It tends not to be worth it when what's going on is recent and situational, when a diagnosis wouldn't change what anyone does next, or when the money would be a real strain and a free route exists. We turn people away on the free call for exactly these reasons, and we'd rather do that than take a fee that doesn't help your child.
